Moths and Butterflies of Great Britain and Ireland (1 Viewer)

Hi Andy,

You will need the opinions of people more qualified than me, but -

They are probably getting a bit long in the tooth now but I used to use vols 1 - 4 quite a lot for trying to id micros. As a book collector, beware that vol 5 (tortrices) had a different publisher and will upset your love of matching sets. It also got less than complimentary reviews. I've no idea if there are plans to complete the set.

If you do decide to go ahead you'll have great fun tracking down the bargains... Pemberley Books seems to have quite a few for sale to give you an idea of prices.

Did you know there is a 3rd Edition of Manley's book due next year with photos of all the moths on the British list?

Thanks Roger, that's horrendous!

I was aware of the fact but assumed they'd at least match the dimensions of the other titles, don't think I'll bother!

I was also aware of the Manley book but thanks for the reminder

Cheers, Andy
