Mockingbird looks like he has no tail. (1 Viewer)

Has anyone ever seen a mockingbird that doesn't have a long tail? I have a picture here of one that has been coming to my backyard the last few days. I'm not sure if baby mockingbirds don't have tails? But, I think this bird is an adult. Can a bird lose his tail in a fight or something like that?

There are lots of accidents that can happen to make a bird lose its tail feathers, they will soon grow back
