Menorca - Bird of Prey? (1 Viewer)

I had a Whit week holiday on Menorca doing little more than sitting reading and keeping binoculars handy except for one afternoon when a bird landed on a very tall conifer nearby. I grabbed my wife's Pentax camera [eventually] and pointed in the general direction of the bird as it decided to go away.

Not a very good photo but can anyone narrow down the possibilities, please?
