Mallard with blue head, still a Mallard? (1 Viewer)

We say this mallard today that had a blue head instead of the normal green. It wasnt the angle or the light, it was always blue.
Is that still called Mallard or is some other bird?

Yes, maybe once a year I see a Mallard with a blue head. But we have lots, lots of Mallards here.
