Twice this week I’ve seen a bird with magpie body/colours but with a grey/black capped head .
Anyone else ever seen this ,or could it be a cross 🤷‍♂️

A quick google for me only came up with this, indicates hybrids may not really happen (they do in some birds) -

Did it have the long tail of a Magpie? Could be an abberrant Magpie, possibly some feather or mite damage to the head, or possibly (depending on how sure you were it was magpie-like), an escaped cage-bird of some kind roughly resembling a magpie. If you see it again a pic would probably help, even if from a mobile ...

And welcome to BF ;-)

Hi couldn’t get a picture,I was driving a bus 😝,but have seen it a couple of times around the same area .very curious as to what it is

The OP has made no mention of it having the structure of a magpie. Possibly an aberrant corvid, but this will go no further without a photo.

Not sure if these will help, but some more leucistic Jackdaws all taken in Sussex
