Loon on the Baltic coast in Poland (1 Viewer)

Hello

Today I saw this Loon.. At first I assumed it was an Arctic Loon, but it appeared quite big and heavy, compared to what I would expect.. I was just thinking if this could be a Common Loon, which would be much more rare.. I know it's missing the white ring around the neck, but I don't know how well the plumage should be developed by now.. I have no experience with loons this late in the spring.. Usually they disappear around start march, where they are still in winter plumage..

I know pictures are far from good, but it was heavy clouds and light rain..

Can someone comment, based on this?

Thanks

Assuming it's in breeding plumage, I think it's actually better for red-throated because we cannot see any evidence of light patches on the wing bases. Unfortunately I couldn't tell what shape the grey is where it ends on the neck. In black-throated this is perpendicular (grey is like a cylinder) and slanted in red-throated

Thanks for your input.. I'll leave it unidentified..

Right before this came by, another 2 came flying a bit further out, which clearly was Red Throated.. This one here just appeared more blackish and bigger than a Red Throated, so I didn't consider that option..
