Mom loves her birds and would like to have a bird bath this winter for them. Anyone have any leads for a traditional standing bird bath that has a heater in it?

Hi and welcome ! I can't help much but, how cold does it get where you are? Here in the middle of the UK I go with unheated and something like a tennis ball to stop the surface totally freezing!

Another option might be to use a compressed air pump which creates bubbles that prevent / reduce the risk of freezing. I know I have seen such a system in a garden centre, but can't find any link.

I can’t find what we used in AZ we would get into the 20s at night at our elevation. It was something very similar to this, we just made sure to wrap the plug into the extension cord with waterproof tape:

They also have heated bird baths on there, but much more costly.
