Robert, Lombok Swiftlet is a good name. Impossible really, but think you have captured one of the glossy swiftlets. Detect some UTC barring as well. These occurr in ephemeral glossy colours in highland and lowland forms over a wide area. Whatever your best field guide to the region states but do not think it belongs to the edible-nest groupings.

I agree it looks like a Collocalia swiftlet - short stubby wings and huge eye. Could it be a Cave Swiftlet, or one of the Glossy races?

Robert,
Sounds OK. and he probably should know. One of the most far ranging glossy groupings, Borneo and further afield has a single, hair like feather across the palm of the foot. Some of the island groupings do not have this feather but this obviously difficult to see in the field.
