Little Bunting question... (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone! I have a question that will sound probably little off. Little bunting have been for 43 straight days in Rijeka, Croatia.(And i think that she even survived sparrowhawk attack, take a look at first pic) I dont know if that is something "normal", but the question is: Being around for sometime, whats the chances to see something like "little bit of this and little bit of that" in near future... What i did notice that she dont like chaffinches at all, gets alone with "cousins" cirl buntings and also with sparrows. And i am 99.9 percent sure that she is all alone. Would be possible to see "hybrid" Little bunting and Cirl Bunting, or that is just simply not possible. Just wondering if i have to pay really good attention in near future. Thank you!

Not sure I completely understand your question, but it's presumably a bird that is wintering in Croatia and will at some point migrate north in early Spring. It's extremely unlikely it will remain to breed and hybridise with a Cirl Bunting.
Thanks DMW! Your quote: "It's extremely unlikely it will remain to breed and hybridise with a Cirl Bunting." is an answer to my question.
