In the field, outer-tailed feathers looked white ; on the pic, whitish. Its song was that of a Skylark (imitation I guess?); I also wondered about the fairly long pp.

Did it sing in flight display as a Skylark for a prolonged period?

What do you think of the whitish edge of the tail ? Here is a straight bill for a lark, an easy Thekla.

Is it the same bird?

Valery. If you don't want to see someone's comments, put them on ignore - that is what this feature is for.

However, if you start a thread, you cannot direct who replies - the thread is public and any member is entitled to reply. You are out of order.

I have put him in "ignore" for several months, but it makes no difference. He comments all my posts, he is quoted by others and thus I read his comments in all case. I would need a "block" like in Facebook, to hide my post from him, but it seem impossible here. Several members have gone from BF because of Butty, I hope the admins will think to take action. It is not the same bird, I have just put it to show how the Thekla's bill is. It didn't display, just singing, perched.
