Lake Biwa - Japan. Bean Goose identification: (2 Viewers)

Hello there

I was at the Kohoku bird sanctuary on Lake Biwa and I got a lot of Bean Goose photos. Most, I know, are Taiga Bean Geese, but I'm curious whether a few Tundra Bean Geese might have slipped in there. Photo 1 is a suspected Tundra Bean; my justification being the thicker neck, shorter bill (in comparison to other geese about) and darker face. Photo 2 is a definite Taiga Bean, included for comparison.

Any definite IDs about photo 1 would be appreciated.

Best regards,
Ross

Should be a Tundra goose based on- short neck, dome headed, eye is more centrally positioned on head, obvious chin (transition from bill to chin is not smooth as it is with the bird in second pic) and shorter deep based bill.

Many thanks, Bewick. The Tundra Bean is a new bird for me. :)
