Hi
It appears a squirrel knocked over (or attacked by something else) a nesting box with Mom and three babies inside. One of the babies fell out onto table the nest was on
We opened the box and realized Mom was in there. She wouldn't or couldn't fly away and was shaking.
We put the best with babies back together but
What can I do to help???

Shoot the squirrel, they're partial to young nestlings.

Hi ptc and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. In the main, the best thing is to allow the mother to be able to get some peace and quiet, allowing her to feel secure. If the cause was a squirrel then it would be an idea to perhaps make it as difficult as possible for it to repeat the attack.

It wasn't written for this scenario, but you might find some of the general guidelines in this link helpful: here for the care of injured and baby birds.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
