Kite Optics Smartphone Adapter (1 Viewer)

Hello, has anyone used the Kite Optics Smartphone adapter for digiscoping?

Seems like it would work with a wide variety of eyepieces but I can't find anything for reviews out there

I had not seen it. Kite is a very reputable brand, but generally adapters with an adjustable eyepiece connector require much more fiddling than those with a fix eyepiece connector. I invested earlier this year on an adapter with a fixed eyepiece connector (and variable phone connector) on the basis that we keep the scope for much longer than our phones, and it made a big difference.

Which adapter did you end up purchasing? I agree that we keep our glass longer than phones which is the main reason I never got into the phoneskopes

Smartoscope Vario...very happy with it. Now that I think about it, the eyepiece connector can also be replaced if that is ever needed.

You don't have to worry about the size of eyepiece, because this adapter can be fitted with any binocular or spotting scope, because it can be fixed with rubber belt.

If you will use this with different optics, no problem at all. A long rubber belt(about 50 cm) is provided, and you can cut it according to your binocular or spotter. Change the optics, change the belt accordingly. I have used a few adapters so far but no one is as easy to use as this.
