Is this a song sparrow or house/purple finch (female)? (1 Viewer)

This bird frequents my feeder area. I've thought it was a song sparrow all along, but it doesn't exhibit "kicking the ground" behavior and looks a little bit different from song sparrows, which also often come to my feeder.

After consulting a field guide, I've concluded that it could as likely be a female house finch or purple finch.

Your thoughts?

For comparison purpose, I'm also attaching pictures of what I believe is a song sparrow. This one does scratch the ground with both feet, and seems to have a dark dot in its chest.

Thank you all for your answers.
That's a little disappointing, because I was hoping I could add house finch to my observed birds list.
