Is this a juvenile Jay? Lunt UK today (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Couldn't get my camera to focus because of the foreground.

Looked like a Jay to me.

Any help appreciated thanks :)

Not many people are fortunate enough to see Jays, let alone juveniles, but I have them in my garden regularly.

If it will help in the future: a juvenile Jay is the same size as an adult Jay - plumage is identical except for the patterning and colour of the crown (although you may not notice the difference without close views) - they also look fluffier and cleaner than the adults ;) (there's pics in my gallery of juves if you can't find any pics elsewhere).
