Is fish food suitable for birds? (1 Viewer)

Jeanie

Jeanie with one n.
I have a large packet of Koi stick left over from feeding fish during summer. My now dead cat, not because of eating the food, used to love the stuff.
Do you think it would be OK for birds or could it have an ingredient that would do harm?
Many thanks.

Hi Jeanie, not sure about the effects but I use floating carp sticks during the spring and summer to feed the fish in my ponds and the local breeding pair of Blackbirds regularly come down and pick a few that they can reach off the surface. Hasn't done them any harm.
