It can be, but it can also be a waste of time. Jack Martin Way is good just now with a nice mix of breeding warblers, buntings, finches and even Stonechats, plus Skylarks and Pheasants in the fields. I generally do the back road to Powrie Brae in search of Grey Partridge (though had 2 at Pitkerro Grove Cemetery too on Sunday) and I'm hoping that I might one day find a calling Quail along that way.
