ID request for small yellow and light brown bird (3 Viewers)

This bird was one of a pair which I saw on a hedgerow at the side of a field in countryside nar Horsted Keynes in West Sussex on 9 April. Yellow and pale brown. I don't think the markings fit with a yellowhammer. Could it be a wood warbler? Apologies for the poor quality - only had my mobile with me which was very frustrating.

Hello Mia,

you can trust your first identification, its a Yellowhammer.
Wood Warbler has yellow only on the supercilum and throat, while the belly is white.

(Nearly/largely) entire yellow head and rusty rump excludes similar Cirl Bunting, which has colder olive-brown rump and evident darker face-markings, even in a female.
