This mourning dove has a strikingly different tail; in appearance and coloration it appears to be a white-winged. However, none of its other features seem to match up with Selby's description of a white-winged. A hybrid with a mourning dove? Adult? Juvenile? Northern New Jersey, 2 September 2017.
