Hybrid goose in Northern California (1 Viewer)

Swan x Canada Goose? Snow x Canada? It also had an all white face and black bill.

Hard to say from the one photo but I suspect this is a leucistic/abnormally plumaged "pure" Canada goose rather than a hybrid. I've seen several others with varying degrees of white spotting/streaking on the black parts of the head/neck. Everything else seems standard for Canada as far as can be seen here (e.g. the skinny black legs - most Canada hybrids with anything that would contribute white plumage have thicker and/or differently coloured legs)

I agree on Steves comment. A hybrid would definitely show different leg color. This is an aberrantly plumaged Canada goose.
