Help id some gulls- photos taken near New Smyrna, FL US 12-15-24 (1 Viewer)

Hi all! I’m trying to id these birds but gulls have me so stumped. Help??

Hi. I'm not great on gulls, but the gull in the background, 1st pic, Maybe a 1st winter Herring gull? and pic 2, centre, juvenile ring-billled gull?..... Best wait for the experts to come along for a more in depth, accurate Id.

Agreed, 1cy Ring-billed gull.

Since it is recently split also by AOU, the first bird is an American Herring Gull (Larus smithsonianus), 1st cycle. Agree on 1c Ring-billed for the second.

And the smaller gull photo-bombing the AHGU is perhaps a Franklin's?
