My name is Jesse, I'm 20 and I'm an intermediate birder who started birding fall of 2023
I live in central California and one of my favorite local birds is probably the Townsend's warbler!
As a younger person I'm honestly getting tired of algorithmic social media so I felt like taking a step into the forum scene
What's everyone else's favorite bird? When did you join this forum?

Hi Jesse and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. Oh dear... I've a few favourites - long time is the Eurasian Dipper (I love black and white birds). Small wader is the Common Ringed Plover. Large wader: Black-winged Stilt. Woodland bird: Eurasian Treecreeper. American bird: toss-up Blue Jay, California Quail and Road Runner. I joined this forum in 2004.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
