Hi rootstofruits and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. As they near the fledging stage they start exercising their wing muscles to strengthen them, when they feel they're ready they will start to jump up towards the nest hole and will eventually arrive at it.

They may stay there for a bit and even get a feed there. Then suddenly they decide it's time to go (or maybe they get pushed out by Number 2 LOL).
