I have had great tits build the nest, lay eggs and rear chicks for 2 years.
I have a new bird box and both the male and female have been in, the female has been scenting and brought some small bits of nesting material in approximately 10 days ago. I haven't seen them since. I live in Kent in England and the weather has been sunny but very cold. Is it too late for them to finish building the nest and lay eggs? I'm really disappointed 😞
