Grackle or Starling, Pennsylvania, USA (1 Viewer)

The below photograph was taken in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA in June.

I have this photograph in the gallery with an ID of Juvenile Common Grackle. I just got a comment that it is a Juvenile Euorpean Starling. I still think it is a Juvneile Grackle because of the dark brown color as the Juvenile Starling is a light gray (as per Sibley). However, to be sure I am asking for an ID confirmation in this forum.

It's a juvenile Common Starling, assuming that they look the same where you are as here in the UK.

Their colour can depend on the light. My garden is full of juveniles ATM, sometimes they look grey, sometimes brown.

Starling. The bill shape is a good clue, it's more like a spike. When at a distance or in poor light, Starlings can be told from blackbirds and grackles by the way they move. Starlings, both on the ground and in flight always seem to be in a really big hurry.
