Golden Eagle or red tailed hawk? (1 Viewer)

Is this a golden eagle? Head appears to be golden. Is the beak an eagle beak?
I thought red tailed at first but the head is so golden and the feet are feathered

Legs difficult to see in this angle but bill is not right and the paleness of both underside and and the splotches on upperside does not fit.

I did wonder what you meant with your initial post as it's so clearly a Red-tailed Hawk.

RTH. You can see the red tail and the white markings on the Scapulars, which are sometimes called "back straps."

The head color on red-tailed hawks can be quite variable relative to the mantle color. But all the other features mentioned clearly point to red-tailed...especially the red tail.
