A weird thing happened yesterday and I still can't get it straight in my mind.
I was trying to send an email to a friend with a BT address. Mine was Gmail. For two or three attempts it wouldn't go, as the Server was taking too long to respond.
On a 4th attempt, I got a pop up message from Microsoft saying something like... myoutlook Account does not exists. Log in to Microsoft. I shut that down and went to double-check I'd not inadvertently used my Outlook address, but I hadn't, it was definitely the Gmail one.
So I tried sending again, with the same result, only this time I couldn't shut the Log In to Microsoft box down, it just kept coming back again. So I looked up my password, logged in and then I could manage to send my GMail message.
What the heck has MS Outlook got to do with GMail???
Incidentally, I use Thunderbird to compose all my emails.
