This may be a bridge too far to identify I think? Possibly some flycatcher? The red near the bill is not from the bird but from the twig. It was photographed in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro state, Ilha Grande, around 110 km / 70 mi west of Rio de Janeiro. The date was Sep 24, 2024.

Regards,
Peter

Looks like a Myiarchus flycatcher. The all dark lower mandible suggests Short-crested, which I think is also the most likely of the genus on Ilha Grande.
