Hi all

I think these are all Skippers, the last one possibly a Fiery, but any help with the identifications is most appreciated.

Hi Simon, this going to be difficult but I found this site http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/wildflower/searchButterflyComprehensive.asp which might help you decide. I think 3 is a Clouded Skipper

Looking at photos on the net there seems to be a lot of variation in a number of similar looking Skipper species so it may end up being a bit of a guess given I only got the one photo of each, and maybe 2, 3 & 4 are all the same species?

As you say Clouded Skipper is a good shout, Northern Cloudywing is another species that looks like 3 too! I'm sure they're easy if you see them regularly tho!
