Taken today - looking mostly at a bright shoreline - so quite difficult to make out colours, seemed to be quite grey and was difficult to make out - i had seen the ringed plover first (last photo).

Lastly is this grainy effect due to being at maximum zoom (Lumix fz-82 bridging camera)? for comparison with same camera here is a Whitethroat, significantly closer taken around the same time.
