This is a long shot, but.....
I'm working on a project, part of which will cover eagle owls in the UK. Ideally, I want to visit a site where breeding might have occurred this year, but I am aware that given their status and what has happened to breeding birds in the past, anyone who has any information will be reluctant to disclose it.
I have no intention of risking the exposure of any animals, but would love to be in the right kind of location for a night, in order to convey a sense of realism (even if the likelihood of a sighting would be close to zero).
I am aware of fairly recent breeding attempts, but if anyone had any information for 2024 it would be grtefully received - and do drop a private mail rather than publish it publicly.
