Eastern Bluebirds, Nest with no eggs. (1 Viewer)

No real sure where to ask this question. We have a couple of Eastern Bluebirds that have built a nest in a Bluebird box we have in the back yard. They completed a beautiful nest about a week ago. They are still in and out of the nest at different times of the day but the female has not laid any eggs. Is this normal? Will they wait for warmer weather before laying? We are not sure what this means. We thought they start laying eggs after the nest is built. Is there still a chance that they will start laying? We have tried researching this but have not been able to find much. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks

That’s normal. I’ve got exactly the same. Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit is probably the reason. That way there should be plenty of juicy bugs available for when the eggs hatch.
