LH are a pair of Northern Shovelers but RH duck is puzzling me. A Teal (Blue-winged or even stray Cinammon)? Hybrid?

Edit: added 2nd (poor) photo. Bill and OA size look wrong for Teals, but not quite right for Shoveler? Dunno...

seems large to me for Bluewing in comparison to the shovelers and a high bill near base + bill shape looks odd for bluewing ... a case might be made for hybrid here- but for definite ID I thinkwe should see more pictures, never mind how bad
Something is 'off' for me regardless... I wish I had taken more photos. At the time I didn't register that it was not quite 'right' for a Shoveler female. I'll venture back out and see if they are around tomorrow but it's a long shot.
What did we ever do w/out photos BITD! lol

I'm not an expert on female BW Teal x Shoveler, but the bird in question does seem to have a plain face with rich brown tones. I'm not sure how you'd rule out a rare Cinnamon Teal hybrid in these pictures.
