Dragonflies in Paris? (1 Viewer)

I'm in Paris next weekend and look like having Sunday afternoon with no activities booked. Does anyone happen to know of a decent dragonfly spot that can be got to on public transport and isn't too far out? I'm familiar with the small ponds at the botanical gardens which are fairly central, but while they're reliable they don't get a huge range of species. Where else might I try?

Bois de Vincennes looks your best bet according to iNaturalist. I assume that is what you mean with the botanical gardens!

Bois de Vincennes does sound like a good shout. That's reachable on the Metro. The one I was thinking of is the Jardin des Plantes which is near Austerlitz station - it has some moderately sized ponds which are managed for growing interesting water-plants so don't get chlorinated like most areas of water in the city.
