Downloading to USB Memory sticks (1 Viewer)

Hi all
I just wondered if anyone has tried connecting a usb memory stick to a Nikon
camera eg a D50 and down loading the pics. I think you would need a male micro usb and female usb adaptor. I think you could use it in the same way as down loading direct to a printer !
Any thoughts ?
Barry

My camera (compact) has a 'Copy to card' facility which I suspect may be what you are thinking of. I have not explored it yet but see if that is in the manual.
