Do newts' tails regrow? (1 Viewer)

no I don't think they can, they can grow limbs back, but I do't think that extends to tails. I keep and breed newts, and I've got a newt with a chunk out of it's tail which hasn't started to regrow at all, but it may be different if the entire tail was taken off

Sorry to cut in on your thread....Jacana - You say keep and breed newts, how do you keep them....what sort of set up ect? I always used to be facinated by Newts as a kid and I'd love to hear some more about this... As far as tails growing back....I wasnt aware they could, but no expert
