Diver, Broughty Ferry, Scotland 20/4/25 (1 Viewer)

Stonefaction

Dundee Birding....(target 150 in 2025).
Scotland
Probably a Great Northern Diver (about 85% sure)...seen and photographed at a distance going away from me downriver early this morning - slow-ish wingbeats. Not the best photos (OM-1 built-in digital extender used). Opinions welcome.

Well perhaps being optimistic but I think the larger and differently shaped bill of white-billed would be visible here
There is one, maybe two at a push, of the photos I took where the bill shape and paleness is a bit ambiguous....but not being able to zoom in on here doesn't really help to show that particularly well. I don't think it is a White Billed Diver, but there is that small element of doubt that made me post on here.
