I was cutting back some shrubbery and an alarmed blackbird shot out. Looking at where she came from I noticed a nest with three eggs π©. I'd been working there for half an hour, the poor dear must have been terrified. I immediately evacuated the scene.
Is there any hope she'll come back? Is there anything I can do? Without wanting to sound callous, if she's not coming back I'd rather get on with it because the shrubbery looks a proper mess, but I'll put up with that for the duration of brooding, if that's going to happen.
