Custom made wellies (1 Viewer)

Do any companies make wellies for odd size feet/calf sizes ?. I ask as i suffer from oedema in one leg thus normal wellies have not got a deep/wide enough foot bed and the width at the calf needs to be bigger to allow me to get them on and offer comfort.


I have tried boots from all ranges but no luck. I have some waterproof walking shoes but need wellies at times when volunteering and i need to walk in boggy areas and wet woodlands etc where water levels are a bit to high for shoe wear.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I would lend you my PLD (personal levitation device) but the neutron power pac is running a bit low, and its hard to get a recharge on this wee planet!

OR you could try your local Lidl, they often have a range of fishing gear in.....fishermen tend to use waders.

Ian [husband] has trouble with feet/ankles due to arthritis and has tried a few the best ones he has found so far are ones made by Crocs [yes the same people who do the beach type shoes] it looks as though they may have given up on them as they are now discontuing them on ..found them on this site but black have sold out, but worth doing a check on ebay or other sites that may have them. They are very lightweight and they are quite wide fitting at the top.

I have these boots which are very comfy and as you can see are waterproof to about ankle height but the top just wipes off clean and is opened/closed by velcro straps. Had mine for about 3 years and they are still like new.

Have you tried the Neoprene 'Muck' boots ? The uppers are soft and flexible . Sorry if you have already tried these .
