Common Snipe flight call, UK (audio). (1 Viewer)

From today in Worcestershire.

I don't get many Snipe, especially Snipe on the edge of woodland. I flushed it, by accident, from a grassy woodland track that has puddles: the track is only 10 meters from the edge of a field so it's logical hop into the wood.

It didn't look like a Woodcock it looked like a Common Snipe. By chance I had the audio recorder running and caught what I think is the flight call as it was flushed.

Please can Someone confirm this is a Common Snipe.

Thanks, Corvus. I couldn't find it on the recording at first but I went back over it again after listening on xeno-canto because the flight call of the Common Snipe doesn't appear to be very piercing or diagnostic- so it's a bit flat/unfeatured on the sonogram.
