Choughs & Puffins, mid April, Pembrokeshire? (2 Viewers)

Walking near Tenby we want to see Choughs on Easter Sunday 9 April, or Monday April 10.

Can we see Puffins nearby St Davids on Wednesday, 12 April or Thursday, April 12?

Ferry to Ramseys Island does not start till end April.

I am nature writer from US and friend is studying hummingbirds.

thanks, Susan

Hi Sususu and welcome to BirdForum. You might get a better response to your enquiry if you post elsewhere. There's actually a specific forum for Pembrokeshire here:
Information Wanted would also work:
I suspect Puffins will be around in their breeding areas by April, although I'm not sure what the most accessible sites will be in that area.

Thousand islands boat trips from st David’s will guarantee puffins while not taking up as much time or money as a skomer landing. I’ve done skomer in April when there was only one or two birds on the island so sometimes the boat trips are better

Chough are plentiful around the coast there. Although the best place in my experience is the deer park at martins haven (which is the departure point for skomer landings).

I’d guess there are lots of places for chough though. I usually get them a bit closer to home so don’t really pay that much attention that far west
