Cerulean Warbler in Colombie ? (1 Viewer)

Hi all !

I had a glimspe of a warbler at 2100 asl in Santander (Colombia), east of Bucaramanga. Other Parulids seen were Blackburnian Warbler and Slate-throated Whitestart.

My first impression was Cerulean Warbler with the wing bars and bluish tinge in the tail. However, I struggle to find a similar individual online, especially one with such a white eye-ring.

Can you confirme the ID and, if yes, tell me which plumage ? Can it be a 1cy male ?

So it can be a fall adult male for you, The Fern ? That's great, although I regret that my pics are not better. I will go at the same spot again to try better.

I've never seen properly Cerulean W. in winter, always in breeding season in North America...

Based on photos in Macaulay, it seems unusual for a bird to have both strong back stripes and strong pattern around the eye. This is one I found:

Yes, but this one is a spring bird, I guess a 2cy male ?

I tried to edit my post but it wouldn't take... The underparts are yellowish in the image. I originally thought this was some kind of lighting effect but now I think it's genuine. So the bird is exhibiting a strange mix of adult and 1cy features (e.g. see eye ring)
