I live in MN, it seems they don’t normally come this far North but they did.
The built a nest in a birdhouse we have. Up until yesterday morning they were still feeding their babies. It had been at least a month or longer since the babies had been there. Then as the day went by I realized I hadn’t seen the adults or heard the babies being fed. I thought they had all left the nest. Today I became worried because I seen one adult this morning and then another just about midday. Almost acted like the babies disappeared. It was chirping and chirping, looking inside the nest house and looked to me like they were upset. Did the family leave the nest together or did a pray come and take them. Last night there were no babies as my hubby looked to see.
The house is up high and the only wildlife are squirrels. Neighbor has cats that get out but haven’t seen them in a while either. No snakes!
I’m just worried for the family of birds.
