Can anyone help identify this logo, please? (1 Viewer)

I'd be grateful for any clues about the logo on the reverse of a set of 8x30 Super Virgo standard binos. They look to be from the 1960s or 1970s and are a very decent workaday set. I can't trace anything. Thanks in advance.

12 surfaces coated equals six per side.

Probably two for objective and four for eyepiece, 3 element, 2 group.
Single coats.

So probably uncoated prisms.

There may be JB or JE markings at the front or inside the front.
This will give the maker.

Maybe 7.5 degree field.

Regards,
B.

I'd go with Katsuma optical(JB-2) as well, although there's also JB257 Kyoshi Optical Co. Ltd., Tokyo. If there JB/JE on the forward pivot lugs, there a JB list on the cloudy night binocular forums

Thanks to everyone who replied. Sorry for radio silence since the posting. There are no JB/JE markings at all. I wasn't sure if it was even Japanese though the right-hand prism cover plate looks to be fairly standard Japanese style (lettering, serial no. etc.) Here are a couple more pictures.

Clearly Japanese. Zeiss copy. Cookie cutter 8x30. I have several. They all look the same. Since it has hard plastic eyecups and no JB, it's before 1959.
