Camouflage net (1 Viewer)

Last week I made a trip to Danube Delta and Dobrogea region in Romania. When trying to photograph birds in open areas as lake shore or field I could not get close enough.

Therefore I am thinking to buy a camouflage net. I have no experience in using such and equipment.

I would appreciate if you could tell me if the camouflage net is usefull and if there are links for how to use it.

I take photos mainly on lake shores and forests.

Thank you,
Cristian

hi cristian, any army surplus netting will be ok to use or theres the realtree netting, you can either had some poles to the ends & stick in the ground, or drape it from whatever is around you or drape it over yourself, but I think more people use the army surplus netting, its very affective for getting close to your subject. You can wildlifewatchingsupplies or just google camo netting. There Is some 3d leaf clothing from Jack pyke which Is very good..

Hi Cristien
do a search on fleabay for 'snipers net' if u can crawl to the waters edge with your kit then you should find this a useful piece of kit to carry around with you. I occasionally use a leaf camo netting which is useful for breaking up your human shape.

Ian

Hi Cristian,

I just invented birding hide to help us get closer to the bird, there are 3 models of hides,
Spring and pup-up, can be set up with in a second. I post them under Equipment Review,
Or you can go to www.superhide.multiply.com, it is my own photo gallery web.
