hey...anyone know where i can find the specs on a bogen 3011 tripod? there is a used one in great shape at a shop nearby, with bogen 3130 fluid head, and wondering if it is heavy/sturdy enough to support my zeiss 85.
thanks!!

hi swamp rattler. specs for bogen 3011 max ht 71'' wt 4.9lbs will take 13.3lbs load closed ht 22''. you can find specs on adoramas site .from your neighbor in medina ohio
brian.
ps 3130 is a good head i use mine with scopes & binos much heavier than the zeiss 85

It should be just as good as the 3021, which is probably the most widely used pod for scopes.

Think of it as sort of a barebones 3021. No extra gimimicks, (multiple leg angles, padding, etc.), but without the corresponding extra pound or so of weight, yet just as much support.
