Hi,
I have what looks like a blue grey gnatcatcher in my letter box. I have never seen a bird like it before and my research tells me that they are not common place in the UK.
The bird is nesting in my letter box and has been there for about 3 weeks. I check on it from time to time, the first lot of eggs just kind of disappeared and the bird was gone for 2-3 days but it has since come back and appears to have eggs again.
Is there anything I can do for it. I am not one to mess around with nature or anything but I am worried a squirrel got in and ate the first lot of eggs or something.
Any info would be awesome.
