Blackbird fledglings (3 Viewers)

Hi, I have 3 blackbird fledglings in my garage. I also have 3 spaniels. Worried about how they will get out, I can’t leave the garage door open and where the parents get in is high up. The other door leads into the garden but I can’t leave that open because of the dogs. Worried they will die as they can’t get any food and it’s nearly 3 weeks since they fledged. Any ideas on what I can do would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Julie

Welcome to Birdforum.

Are they flying around the garage? If so, they should be able to follow the parents out.

I’m not sure why you can’t leave the door into the garden open and keep the dogs in the house for a day.

Thank you for your reply.
I’ve actually left the garage door open and one is now in the hedge but one still in the garage. Mr Blackbird has been back a few times today. I was just concerned as I hadn’t seen him for a while. So all good now.
Also keeping 3 spaniels in the house for a day is not an option 🤣

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. Glad you saw one of the adults.
