Black Vulture? (1 Viewer)

Picture taken 12/13/22 in Indiana(USA). Usually we get turkey vultures around here but Black Vultures venture through from time to time. I am just not use to seeing them, so I am looking for verification. Thanks.

Yup, pretty classic Black Vulture. Pretty broad wings which are all dark with silver tips to them.

Yes. Stumpy wings, whitish in outer primaries, thin bill.

their range is gradually moving northward, I've seen them in southern Connecticut but not up here in Massachusetts yet
