Birdsong to play in toilets (1 Viewer)

Saw in the news yesterday that toilets in petrol stations will play birdsongs in the toilets to calm down rage drivers. Seems like a good idea I did read somewhere that scientists say hearing birdsong calms your mind, I think it's true. I think Newcastle does a similar thing every Spring playing birdsong in Tube Stations.

I believe it does as well, after a day of frustrated job searching I find that an hour in the garden listening to the birdsong always puts me in a better frame of mind.

What a wind up! Having to sit there ID'ing all the calls. What if they slip in something unusual - all the loos will be filled up with Birders trying to work out what they are hearing!

Correctly id all the calls, especially any rares, and you'd be flushed with success and considered brilliant rather than just bog standard.

I'll get me coat.

Anymore for anymore...?! [can't beat a bit of toilet humor].....!
Surprised that there's been no reference yet to 'tinkling' goldfinches or...[heaven forbid]...the call of the Little Bustard....[check out sound]..........!!
